On a Silent Boat Tour we gently traverse the Upper Ord River from Kununurra in a modern, very comfortable bow-rider with a silent electric motor. A maximum of 4 passengers means there is less noise and distraction to fully enjoy your surroundings.
Morning cruises are best for those who would like to photograph birds and see Emu creek lagoon lit up by morning light.
We cruise up river into Emu creek lagoon where birds and wildlife can be seen. The whisper quiet electric motor allows us to approach wildlife stealthily to take photos of the many bird species in the creeks and lagoons.
Enjoy the serene sounds of nature or waterfalls flowing in the wet season. Pending weather and the track accessibility, there is an option to view rock art at the head of sleeping buddha or take a walk into Herbie’s hideaway.
This is a 30 minute walk in each direction and requires a good level of fitness but is worth the effort.
