Cathedral Gorge & Domes Guided Tour

Beginning at the remote Bellburn Airstrip in Purnululu National Park this tour will take you on an adventure through the mesmerising domes that make up the Bungle Bungle Range and into Cathedral Gorge. Alongside your guide, you will wander through the famous eroded towers and orange banded beehive shaped domes of the Bungle Bungle.

This walk will take you to Cathedral Gorge, where you can experience first-hand the amazing natural acoustics created by the towering cliffs. Enjoy a picnic lunch whilst relaxing in one of the most beautiful spots in the park.

After a short break your guide will lead you along Piccaninny Creek and explain the importance of native flora and fauna, as well as the six season calendar the Gija people live by.

Meet your tour guide in the shaded picnic area at Bellburn Airstrip – Purnululu National Park, 30 minutes prior to the tour departure.
