Itinerary Details
Day 1 - Kununurra to El Questro
Fly from Kununurra to El Questro Homestead by helicopter, passing over the spectacular ranges that surround the region.
Once landed at the Homestead, the afternoon is yours to enjoy.
Day 2 - Miri Miri Falls
This morning you’ll explore the stunning Miri Miri Falls. Hidden in a remote corner of El Questro, spring-fed water cascades over a 50m fall from the plateau into a deep pool, then into a dense alley of Livistonia Palms and Paperbark Trees. Take a dip in the refreshing pool surrounded by nature then enjoy a picnic lunch, all while revelling in one of El Questro’s most secluded attractions.
Fly back to the Homestead where you can enjoy some of the Homestead’s complimentary excursions, or simply relax by the pool.
Day 3 - Champagne Breakfast at Champagne Springs
Discover the serenity of Champagne Springs on this unique morning adventure. Land at a spring-fed waterhole for a swim and delicious picnic breakfast. Take in the lush scenery, cascading waterfalls, and sounds of nature before flying over the Pentecost River and Chamberlain Gorge back to the Homestead.
Once back at the Homestead, you can choose from selected complimentary excursions or simply relax for the afternoon.
Day 4 - Private Touring in Purnululu National Park
Lift off from the Homestead after breakfast and fly south towards the World Heritage-listed Purnululu National Park.
Viewing vast tracks of cattle station empires, marvel at the tenacity of early pioneers in settling in this rugged land. Arrive at the remote Bellburn Airstrip in Purnululu National Park. From here, your guide will take you by road closer to the Bungle Bungle Range and the start of your 3km hike into Cathedral Gorge. Wander through the famous eroded beehive-shaped domes, and enter Cathedral Gorge where you will experience first-hand the amazing natural acoustics created by the towering cliffs. Fly home over the western shoreline of Lake Argyle and the Ragged Ranges before returning to the Homestead.
Day 5 - Depart El Questro
Say farewell to El Questro Homestead and fly back to Kununurra by helicopter.
