The Argyle Diamond Mine in the East Kimberley was the world's largest supplier of natural coloured diamonds, including the rare Argyle pink diamond. Unfortunately the mine is no longer operating and is in the rehabilitation stage, so there are no tours available.
There ain’t no diamond like a Kimberley diamond! It’s just another thing we’re famous for.
Due to the Argyle Diamond Mine closing operation there are no mine tours available.
If you’re in the market for fine jewellery – or perhaps a special ring for a special someone – nearby Kununurra is a great place to start. You’ll find specialist outlets with experts to talk you through the unique language of diamonds. Kimberley Fine Diamonds is located in the centre of town.
